We take the safety and protection of your child seriously since we are to welcome the children like Jesus welcomed them. We are committed to providing a clean and safe environment for your child learn about Jesus and have fun! Read more below about what our process looks like.

 1:1 Training

We recognize the need for all of our volunteers to be equipped to feel confident about serving in children’s ministry. All of the volunteers in our children’s ministry have received proper training and child abuse prevention and awareness using curriculum from Ministry Safe.

Additionally, each parent in our church is also encouraged to complete this training regardless if they serve in children’s ministry. It is a value of ours to create a culture where children are dignified and kept safe.

 Background checks

We conduct background checks on every individual on church staff and each volunteer that serves in our children’s ministry. No one is permitted to serve in children’s ministry without first receiving a background check.

CPR Certification

Additionally, we want to be prepared as much as possible and we have CPR certification. We have two fully certified adults ready to assist should it be needed.
